If your AdThrive payment did not go through, you will see it marked as “deferred” in your Payments tab in your dashboard. This can happen for a few reasons:
No payment information
Your payment will be deferred if you haven’t selected a payment method or entered your payment information in the dashboard.
To fix this, click on Payments in the left sidebar, then select "Payment Info" from the dropdown menu. On this page, you can update your contact details, choose a payment method, enter your payment information, and submit a tax form. Be sure to click through all of the pages to ensure that your information is saved in the system.
Invalid tax form details
When your payment information or contact information doesn’t match the information on your tax form, the form will be invalidated and your payment can’t go through.
To fix this, click on Payments in the left sidebar, then select "Payment Info" from the dropdown menu. On this page, you can view your contact details and compare to the tax form you submitted. Make any updates, and be sure to click through all of the pages to ensure that your information is saved in the system.
TIN failed validation
For US publishers: when you submit your tax form, our payment provider validates the tax identification number (TIN) you provide with the IRS. If there’s an error matching up your TIN, you’ll receive an email notifying you of the problem so you can log in to your dashboard and fix any errors on your tax form. Our payment provider must successfully validate your TIN with the IRS in order for your payment to go through.
Payment threshold not met
Most payment methods require at least $25 of earnings to accumulate before a payment will be made. If you have earnings under $25 (for example, if you joined AdThrive right near the end of the month), those earnings will be deferred until you reach $25, and then they will be deposited with the next payment.
Note: The wire transfer payment method requires earnings to reach $100 or more before paying out.
What should I do if my payment was deferred?
If your payment was deferred, make sure to resolve the issue by entering your payment information or updating your tax form. Once that is taken care of, the deferred amount will pay out with the next scheduled payment.
